It was a valiant comeback effort by the Cubs, who rallied from a 5-0 deficit to the Cardinals, only to lose 9-8 in a game that didn't end until well past many of the player's bedtime!It was a tremendous evening for Trevor Meyer who banged out 2 hits, scored 2 runs and knocked in 2 more to earn Gameball honors. Alex Tate had a big night as well, pounding out 3 hits and knocking in 3 runs. Even in defeat, it was a great team effort by all of the Cubs' players.
