Cubs Heat Up

After battling through freezing temperatures in their last practice, the Cubs were greeted by ideal conditions for Thursday evening's session at Murphey Candler's Field 11. Manager Matt Garrett put his team through live pitching and hitting drills, and as is usually the case in early spring, the pitchers got the better of it.
The next practice is Saturday at Field 11 from 9-11 am. The first scrimmage is Monday night from 6:30-8 pm at the AA field.

Cubs with Speed To Burn, Next Practice on Thursday

Despite the frigid temperatures on Monday evening, the Cubs had a sensational practice that was heavy on bunting and speed drills. Without knowing the competition, it's a safe bet to say that the Cubs will be one of the fastest teams in the league.

The next practice is Thursday from 5-7 pm on Field 11 at Murphey Candler.

Cubs Practice Schedule Hits Warp Speed

The Cubs will practice for the 3rd straight day on Monday, from 5-7 pm at Huntley Hills. Through three practices, manager Matt Garrett's team looks poised to make a run at the AA title.
